Azure DevOps Consultant - Customer Facing Applications
Are you a specialist with expertise in DevOps with a structured approach? Would you like to take on an exciting brand-new opportunity where you will be working with tasks such as test automation, system security and optimizing our CD/CI processes? And do you have a solid understanding of IT Infrastructure in general?
Our current Azure set up is supporting our Web solutions and supports several business areas and brands. We are looking for a new colleague who will help us ensuring that our setup will be more focused on the individual business areas of Demant: Hearing Aid and Hearing Care.

Join Customer Facing Applications
The position is placed in Customer Facing Applications department part of the Hearing Aid IT organisation fully committed to delivering IT solutions to the hearing aid business of Demant. We deliver IT solutions and technical assistance on a global scale and work with a wide range of Microsoft products and Microsoft technologies, including Sitecore, Azure, Biztalk, SQL Server and ASP .Net and C#. Your new team consists of 21 colleagues including Architects, Application Consultants, Software Developers, Frontend Developers, and an Agile Delivery Lead.
You will be joining a team responsible for developing and maintaining our Go-to-market-, eCommerce, CRM, and web-based business applications for our wholesale companies around the the world.
Working with Web, Cloud Excellence and Microsoft Core Infrastructure
As Azure DevOps Consultant, you will be working closely together with our Web team, our Cloud Excellence team, Microsoft Core Infrastructure, and our external Web Support team.
Taking on the role you can look forward to taking on the following responsibilities:
- Finding the most optimal and suitable resources for the tasks
- Create and optimize build Pipelines (PS/Arm/Bicep)
- Setup and enhance performance/error monitoring
- Optimize CD/CI processes
- Ensure system security
- Cost optimization
- Test automation
- Assist in error cause tracking
You will be reporting to the Director of Customer Facing Applications located in Global IT and you will be working out of the Demant HQ located close to an S-train station and Copenhagen. Our Global IT organisation has more than 500 employees with main hubs in Denmark, Poland, US, and the Asia Pacific region. This organisation plays an essential role when it comes to reaching the business goals of Demant.
Experience with the Azure Platform
You most likely have an IT background with DevOps experience combined with some years of experience with the Azure platform. Furthermore, it would be great if you have experience working with databases, SQL, and PowerShell. Finally, it would be a plus if you also have experience within GEO-replication, VMs, Kubernetes and Docker as well as Sitecore.
Before joining us, you have gathered practical experience with aspects of the software development life cycle process or experience in software testing efforts, techniques, and tools.
As a person you possess technologically curiosity, and you never stop wanting to be updated on the latest technologies. You bring a structured approach, and you find it easy to collaborate with colleagues at all levels. We value good communication skills, solution orientation and an innovative mindset.
