Sitecore Developer - Customer Facing Applications

Join Customer Facing Applications
The position is placed in the Customer Facing Applications department, part of the Hearing Aid IT organisation, fully committed to delivering IT solutions to the hearing aid business of Demant. We deliver IT solutions and technical assistance on a global scale and work with a wide range of Microsoft products and Microsoft based technologies, including Sitecore, Azure services, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core and C#.
You will be joining a team responsible for developing and maintaining our Go-to-market-, eCommerce, CRM, and web-based business applications. The team works in a Scaled Agile Framework, with Azure DevOps as the collaboration tool.
Your new team consists of 21 colleagues including Application Architects, Application Consultants, Software Developers, DevOps, and supporters.
Take on the role as developer
You will become part of a team, where your main tasks consist of ensuring best-practice development and Sitecore governance at an application, but also process and integration level.
You will be working closely with other delivery teams and business stakeholders within Demant both in an advisory role and in developing core functionality for our customer- facing applications.
Furthermore, you will assist in developing and assuring best practices and providing code review and development support across our internal delivery teams and external development partners.
Experience with the .NET framework and Sitecore solutions
You most likely have an educational background in software development combined with several years of experience with web development and Sitecore or other CMS technologies. As a person you possess technological curiosity, and you never stop wanting to be updated on the latest technologies. Furthermore, you have an insight and sound proficiency with C#, JavaScript, HTML, ASP.NET and related web technologies.
To be a success in this role, you see yourself as service-minded with a can-do attitude and able to communicate easily with colleagues and business stakeholders at all levels. Furthermore, you are proactive, systematic, analytical, and structured.
