Do you have a passion for enterprise and systems architecture and thrive with leading architectural initiatives, negotiating the right interfaces and securing that our architecture supports new business and technology possibilities? Then this might be the perfect job for you!
You will join a team of eight very enthusiastic and experienced Enterprise Architects, who are working closely together and working with many other people across Demant Functions and across R&D Departments.
Operating in an agile SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) setup, you will take a leading role in our work with Portfolio Layer Epics and collaboration with various roles in ARTs (Agile Release Trains). Along with the the Enterprise Architect team, you are accountable for systems architecture and systems design used for building hearing system products.
The Role
You will be responsible for technical analysis and for identifying and designing, the technical stepping-stones needed to enter new market opportunities and to use new technology. You will work closely together with other architects responsible for specific HW and SW elements and with numerous stakeholders on system aspects and in advising how to obtain the best level of re-use, performance, technical feasibility etc. Your primary tasks are:
• Leading architectural initiatives and technical analyses securing that decisions are sound and fact based.
• Identify enablers and take leading role in enabling hearing system architecture for entering new business areas and technology areas.
• Making architecture descriptions for hearing systems (as a model based system description using the SysML modeling language).
• Facilitating the creation of system design contents - including the interface agreements matching the system architecture.
Technical Background
You have a Masters degree in Engineering or Computer Science - combined with a broad technical background within hardware or software product development. Ideally, you have some years of work experience working as an architect, combined with some managerial experience. Furthermore, you have a passion for new technology.
Furthermore, you have modelling experience and are comfortable decomposing complex systems and negotiating the right interfaces and structures for optimal implementation. Having experience working according to the SAFe framework will also be an advantage.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
You have documented strong leadership skills and good at creating followership interacting with many stakeholders and know that making architecture is very much about communication and involvement of the right people. You have a deep interest for technology and a passion for creating the system overview and setting the systems into a broader context.
