We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Enterprise Architect who is ready to play a leading role in shaping the future of our retail business. As an Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for setting the direction for the current and future IT landscape and enabling execution of strategic, business focused initiatives.
You will collaborate with peers and stakeholders at all levels of the organization to design and implement scalable and efficient solutions that enhance customer experience and improve business growth.

Leading Enterprise Architecture efforts to support the Retail Business growth strategy
Your main areas of responsibility:
• Create line of sight between business priorities and IT efforts across the IT landscape
• Design future state architecture and the supporting technology and product roadmaps
• Facilitate and Design innovative solutions that enhance the overall retail and customer experience
• Orchestrate and provide delivery of key architectural outcomes for strategic initiatives
• Support IT portfolio modernization and optimization including adoption of cloud technologies
• Setting direction for management of technical debt
• Shape the digital agenda by leveraging enterprise systems and integrating cutting-edge AI solutions
• Coach and inspire peer architects and business stakeholders to embrace architectural thinking.
Solid foundation of Enterprise Architecture and Leadership skills
To succeed within the role, you need to:
• Build and Maintain Relationships across Retail organization as well as within Demant Global IT
• Have a solid understanding of digital technologies within the retail/commercial space including Platforms, Cloud Architecture and AI. Preferably broad practical experience within Microsoft Azure
• Have a solid understanding of architecture frameworks and patterns – including business, data, and application architecture
• Documented practical experience from designing and implementing global digital initiatives in the commercial domain – e.g., ERP, CRM, Customer Journeys and Analytics, microservices ao.
• A consultant’s mindset and experience with enterprise change and stakeholder management.
We need your experience!
We expect you to have:
• Broad, at minimum 6–8 years experience within Architecture and Technology management in a global context. Your background may be from a role within Enterprise Architecture, Technology and Product management or management consulting
• Advanced analytical, planning, and organizational skills
• Understands and speaks the language of the business. Ideally with practical experience from the retail or commercial domain
• Excellent written and verbal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
• Positive attitude and delivery mindset – comfortably navigating in a world of rapid change.

Join our team of Enterprise Architects
You will join a small global team of senior Enterprise Architects and at the same time be an integral part of the Retail IT Solution & Delivery organization. Your focus will be the success of the retail business, and you will use your insights to ensure appropriate level of collaboration and architecture synergies across Demant’s four Business Areas. You will be reporting directly to the Vice President of Enterprise Architecture & Data Governance and work from our Demant headquarters in Smørum.
