This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Network professional to join a growing company with a high quality mindset, energized by global collaboration, working in a multi customer network environment covering all network technologies.
We are looking for a new colleague for our Network Core team based in our HQ in Søborg (DK). The team is responsible for large Cisco datacentre network solutions in the data center and at customer premises.
As a network operations specialist in Core Network you work closely with colleagues in our international network departments to operate and maintain our customers' network solutions. NNIT has a total of approximately 50+ network specialists allocated in Denmark, The Czech Republic, China and The Philippines.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in large Cisco datacentre network environments or large enterprise solutions.

As a network operations specialist in Core Network you work closely with colleagues in our international network departments to operate and maintain our customers' network solutions. NNIT has a total of approximately 50+ network specialists allocated in Denmark, The Czech Republic, China and The Philippines.
We work with a wide variety of network technologies and environments for our customers.
Together with your colleagues you will be responsible for:
- Operations, maintenance and compliance of customers’ network solutions with focus on the datacenter network
- 2nd and 3rd level troubleshooting
- Patch Management
- Preparing and maintaining documentation
- Participation in the duty schedule
We work with the following technologies:
- Routing & Switching (Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, including 6500, 4900, 4500)
- Software Defined Network
- Cisco ACI
- BGP/OSPF/EIGRP
- VRF/MPLS
- VSS and VPC
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in large Cisco datacentre network environments or large enterprise solutions.
- It is an absolute advantage if you have knowledge of ACI.
- You have all-round high-level skills within routing & switching.
- CCNP certification within routing/switching and data center will be considered as an advantage.
- We mainly work with products from Cisco and expect you to have a relevant Cisco technical certification.
- Your background in formal IT Operations must be grounded in the ITIL processes.
- You speak and write Danish and English fluently.
- You are (qualified to be) PET approved.
