Do you have an interest in IT and would you like to work in the field between IT and Business? Do you want to contribute to the transformation of our application landscape? And to be part of a great team at ISS Denmark, and also work closely with our Global IT organization? Then you might be our new Application Manager!
We are looking for an Application Manager with a broad tool-box, solid drive and strong dedication, who would like to become part of our IT Function with approx. 30 employees in our Danish headoffice in Søborg.
We are in the middle of a transformation, where we are optimizing the efficiency and adaptability of our application landscape, as well as standardizing and developing it to establish a stable, agile and cybersecure IT Operations- and service, which is standardized across all ISS countries in Global IT.

Tasks and responsibilities:
You will be a part of the application management team with 8 colleagues. Our main purpose is to manage the life circle of our application portfolio, which includes ensuring applications are compliant to IT rules, legislation, security and risk.
You will contribute to a great variety of tasks and projects within application management, as the working day is very versatile and dynamic.
Your main responsibilities include:
In addition, you will play a leading role in system enhancements and process improvements and must therefore have a deep insight in application management, software and tools.
Your competencies and skills:
You are an experienced IT professional with a relevant education within IT, and practical experience working within IT Service Management, Application Management or process management. Preferably from consultancy or from an internal IT-function in a large, international company.

Your main responsibilities include:
- Daily application management, including operations, maintenance and incident management
- Change and release management, such as initiating, editing, documenting and authorizing changes in alignment with Release Management processes and guidelines
- Establish strong network and relations to managers and colleagues from Operations, in order to really understand the business processes and translate them into functional changes
- Review of business demands
- Vendor and cost management (Applications related)
- Functional Test management including coordination of end user test with Operations
- Audit and application documentation

Your competencies and skills:
You are an experienced IT professional with a relevant education within IT, and practical experience working within IT Service Management, Application Management or process management. Preferably from consultancy or from an internal IT-function in a large, international company.
Your key competencies include the following:
- Solid business understanding and commercial insight, combined with deep technical insight
- Preferably experience with Incident and change management
- Experience with and certified in ITIL or other similar frame-work is an advantage
- Communicate fluently in both Danish and English, and have experience working in both languages
- Structured way of working and an analytical mind-set
- You are able to handle great complexity in your tasks, as well as digging into details when required
- High drive, proactive and thrive in working in a dynamic environment, balancing several tasks simultaneously
