Senior Java Developer
for Microservices Landscape
On behalf of our client Printix, we are looking for a passionate Senior Java Developer who has a great interest in being part of a unique growth journey.
Printix in Herlev develops a unique Software as a Service Print Management Platform with lots of interesting features. Using this platform, companies can eliminate print servers and the management of print infrastructure is moved to the cloud. Printix have come a long way going global, they are growing more than 100% in 2020 and expands rapidly every day.
Your key responsibilities
You are involved in the entire development process from defining the architecture in cooperation with the team, coding the solution or parts of it, creating unit tests and deploying the improvements to production.
In Printix they release code several times a day, so it's important that you are comfortable working in a continuous delivery environment.
You will work with a highly skilled and experienced team of eight backend, DevOps and frontend engineers.
Printix backend runs on Azure and is developed in Java using the Spring Boot framework. It is a Microservice architecture. The Tech stack includes but is not limited to Kubernetes, Docker, MongoDB, Kafka, ZooKeeper, Cassandra and Elestacsearch.
Examples of tasks could be development of business logic, building or expanding integration with Azure AD, payment system (Stripe), CRM and ERP system. Analyzing slice and delivering data to the user Dashboard or analytics module, development of a billing service, fix newly exposed bottle necks that are a result of load increase etc.
Your professional skills
- You have a bachelor degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent, and have at least three years of experience as a Java developer
- Preferably, you have some Spring Boot experience
- You are comfortable running the code from A-Z
- It's an advantage if you have experience working in a Continuous delivery and integration environment
- You are skilled in Linux
- It is an advantage if you have worked with different Cloud set-ups and SaaS
- It is equally an advantage if you have worked with some of the following: Azure, Cassandra, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, ZooKeeper and MongoDB

It is important that you are good at organizing and prioritizing your work. It is an advantage if you are interested in creating and developing things and enjoy seeing the result of your work. You must also be eager to learn, and curious regarding new technologies.
