Are you a soon-to-be IT graduate with an interest in architecture and development? Do you want to influence the vital products, systems, and services that transport 500.000 people from A to B every single day?
Then join DSB via our IT Graduate Program starting September 1st, 2022.
What to expect?
The DSB IT Graduate Program is a 24-month program that will get you out of your comfort zone and kick-start your personal and professional development. We offer you a permanent position and after the two-year graduate program you will be able to continue your career in DSB.
Our graduate program offers you the chance to become part of an inclusive network and to work with colleagues from all levels and across the organization.
The program includes your own mentor who will support you and give ongoing feedback and tangible career development plans throughout the full period.
The program covers three parts
After completing the program, you will have acquired the skills and experiences that enable you to do well in a large and complex organization
You will start together with 3 other graduates with the following profiles

With whom will you work?
As an IT Architect, your personal graduate program will be anchored in IT Architecture, and through your daily work and the rotations in the program, you will get broad exposure to the whole organization – both in and outside of the IT organization.
You will work directly with a wide range of people with distinct roles and backgrounds - including Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, technical specialists, project managers, business owners and leadership.
You will be part of a team of 15 colleagues with mixed level of experience. We are supporting both IT and the business in reaching its goals through innovative IT Architecture.
Why we need you?
DSB is facing significant development of many areas. We are purchasing new trains and spend billions in investments in infrastructure. It requires a completely new way of running both the train operation and the company. Therefore, we are implementing a progressive digitization plan which is expected to be completed in 2025.
In addition to this, DSB IT has already undergone a transformation while embedding SAFe® 5.0 and a true agile culture over the previous four years.
With these major changes, the need for having the best people and the latest knowledge in the industry has grown. Graduates are an essential element of this – so join us in making DSB IT an even more attractive place to work with great talent and an inspiring culture.

- Three 7-month rotations in different teams, both in and outside of DSB IT. Every rotation is a full position with clear responsibilities and expectations.
- A Graduate Community including special assignments together with the other graduates.

What will you learn?
Among other things, and depending on your interests and educational background, you will work with
- IT architecture across the whole spectrum – from solution to enterprise architecture
- Analyzing and engaging in complex IT projects, facilitating architectural decisions and blueprints
- Governance, capability maps and As-Is and To-Be evaluations
- Participating in defining guidelines and architectural roadmaps
