About the team:
The department is a part of Platform & Architecture. The overall purpose is to provide tools, platform, infrastructure architecture and other features to enhance the development process and support 80+ agile team to be efficient and enable them to be devops and in the cloud in a secure way.
The products and service delivered to BEC from this department are:
•Application Platform as a Service
•Security as a Service
•Continuous Delivery as a Service
•Log Management as a Service
•Agile platform as a Service
•Tools support for development and Test excellence
•Tools support for Agile development
The responsibility for the whole lifecycle management of the products are placed in the department – from architecting, implementing, support and removal. The purpose is to enable the rest of BEC by building robust and scalable solutions, that the rest of BEC can build the bank applications and their devops rutines on
Required competences and tools:
•Throughly understanding and work experience with Enterprise solution with high volume of transactions and complex system setup
•Good knowledge of security in designing the solutions
•Good Knowledge of designing High availability solutions.
•Install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolves software related problems.
•Executing Production deployments during non-business hours in a high availability environment
•Define the system backups and recovery plan.
•Maintain data files and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity.
•Understand system architecture of upstream and downstream impacts when implementing solution
•Troubleshoot access and/or performance issues, read log files
•Ensure a safe and secure infrastructure
•Create and maintain infrastructure / configuration documentation
•Thorough experience with admin task on RedHat Linux
•Thorough experience with PaaS concept/ building and maintaining platform/ monitoring
•Uses and live by IAC – Infrastructure as Code
•Good understanding of automation
•Personal skills – see key data slides
Tools:
•RedHat Openshift
•Container technologies ala Kubernetes, Docker, cubesnet AKS (Azure)
•Know and practice the concept ‘ infrastructure as code IAC’
•Throrugh OpenShift / PaaS / Kubernetes experience
•MS-Windows server, Linux and RHEL
•LDAP, Active Directory, for user authentication
•Can use Bitbucket and Jenkins
