Senior Security Analyst

This person will lead the effort of defining the security services that will have to be delivered from Denmark in support of the security services sold to customer in the public sector market. In this capacity he will actively work together with members of the Danish organization, such that we put in place the organization and operating model as contractually required.
After implementation he will be handling L3 analytical tasks, using the tools and means that were put in place as part of the implementation of the operating model.
In this role he/she will report to the leader of the SOC in Germany until a local security services delivery leader will be appointed. He/she will also report dotted line into the Danish organization.
The position is based in the office of DXC in Valby, Denmark.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Project and/or people management skills gained through previous experience where appropriate.
· Strong & clear written, verbal & presentation skills including:
o preparation of documents or slide decks crafted to particular or wider audiences
o ability to calmly lead an incident bridge in a chaotic situation
o keeping good notes, records of actions & decisions taken in an incident
o concise and appropriate written updates on incident progress
· Responsibility for the security analytical capabilities and processes.
· Responsible for the analytics and ticket quality.
· Being the single point of contact and trainer for the first line in regards to all analytical topics, like investigation, analysis and triage of security related events.
· Drive and enhance the cyber threat information capability.
· Drive the development of SIEM use cases to protect our customer for APT and current risks.
· Drive and enhance the threat hunting capability.
Education and Experience Required:
· Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) required, preferably in computer science, engineering or related area of study.
· Typically 6+ years of relevant experience
· One or more Security certifications like SANS GIAC, CEH or comparable

- In-depth Cyber and IT security knowledge
- In-depth understanding of Cyber and IT security risks, threats and prevention measures
- In-depth security system analysis skills
- In-depth understanding of security standards and best practices
- In-depth risk assessment and management skills
- In-depth understanding of networking and network security
- In-depth understanding of network monitoring and protocols
- In-depth understanding of ArcSight SIEM technology.
- Advanced Security Operations Center experience is a plus
- Advanced knowledge about various operating systems
- Advanced knowledge about other SIEM technologies like Splunk, Elastic Search, etc.
- Advanced knowledge about different networking tools like Wireshark, Snort, Nmap, etc.
- Language skill: Danish and English
