To succeed in this position you might be newly graduated and looking for your first job. As we prepare to move into our new state of the art logistics Hub in 2023 application project management coordination and digitalization is of highest importance. Most important is that we are looking for a new colleague with a digital mindset to keep track of projects and follow them through the life cycle.
YOUR ROLE IN THE TEAM
As our Application Analyst and supporter you support local Digitalization initiatives and you coordinate application project management of Local and Global applications being implemented in CPH and elsewhere. You will be part of a dedicated team of 5 colleagues, who have different areas of responsibility but are always willing to help and support each other. With reference to our Applications & Project Manager you will play an important role in ensuring our user’s queries are being met and heard. This can be done by analyzing information in various systems to understand how processes carried out are affecting the applications or by submitting and monitoring Change Requests for regional and global applications. In the latter case, you will also support the testing and implementation phases of new releases of applications and you will train our end users in new applications and features. As to that, this role is based upon projects rather than the classic helpdesk.<br /
YOUR SKILLS & COMPETENCIES</strong
Using your social skills in combination with your analytical and curious mindset you know how to ask relevant questions and gather input from our end users at all levels of the organization which enables you to identify and understand the user’s needs in terms of issues to be resolved or application updates needed. This will require understanding of both DHL applications and DHL process which will be provided in the comprehensive introduction training but a successful candidate must be both intelligent and analytical enough to succeed in the role. You put your people skills into play when you train our end users in new applications and features on a regular basis. You get to use your strong communication skills when you translate IT technical language into a clear and easily understandable language writing user guides, training slides and test cases for applications. Lastly you enjoy the international environment where communication in both English and if possible Danish is part of everyday life. You will receive a lot of responsibility and in exchange, you will gain expert knowledge within various IT systems. Please note, that working from home a few times a week is an option.
