The Position This position gives you a unique opportunity for personal and professional development and further building on your career as an IT Infrastructure Category Manager. As an IT Infrastructure Category Manager your main responsibilities will be to: Develop and execute local and global category strategies and collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders ensuring the best cost for value (TCO) is obtained Drive sourcing projects – from ideation, scoping, e-sourcing, negotiation, to contract negotiation and implementation. Manage supplier relationships - including supplier segmentation and strategy development and execution of planned activities. Business development - engage with users in the business to develop and quantify ideas for new projects, substitution, or value-adding activities that generate benefits and savings to the organisation. Coaching colleagues and taking a proactive role in the continuous development of the department and our team. Qualifications You have experience working in an IT company, IT department or IT consultancy office where you have gained strong insights and knowledge about IT infrastructure. Alternatively, you have experience working with procurement and possess strong sourcing toolbox skills and are confident in driving negotiations independently. Furthermore, to be successful in this role you will have: Master’s Degree in, e.g., Business Administration, Chemistry, Engineering, Economics, Law, Supply Chain Management or similar with excellent results complemented with 2-4 years of relevant work experience. Alternatively, a Bachelor Degree or equivalent complemented with 4 years of relevant experience working with, e.g., procurement project management, sourcing, category management, supply chain, or business development. Excellent stakeholder management skills to help drive change management in a diverse customer landscape. Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent presentation and communication skills, at all levels of the organisation. We expect you to be able to use data to drive evidence-based decision-making, complete high-quality analysis, and make strong recommendations, and be curious and understand the value chain in a large organisation. About the department Corporate Procurement is responsible for the indirect spend in Novo Nordisk and for defining and driving the global procurement strategy. Corporate Procurement consists of 150 employees based in Denmark and India (globally 500 people) and is responsible for the indirect spend in Novo Nordisk and for defining and driving the global procurement strategy.
