The position Your responsibilities will be primarily within HR Services and Freelancer Services, where business demand and our sourcing activities grows and changes rapidly due to our accelerated growth journey. New innovative sourcing processes and strategies are needed to ensure optimized impact and value for our business. This role focuses on driving sourcing projects and initiatives, as well as developing and delivering processes optimization, category strategy and supplier relationship management.
The job entails that you:
  • Lead projects and be a driver within the category(ies), including driving strategies, sourcing excellence, negotiations, contract management and supplier relationship management activities.
  • Drive global category transparency to uncover opportunities and enable prioritization
  • Manage a growing pipeline of sourcing projects and ensure responsive and timely execution with high quality, stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Engage with and manage senior leadership across the value chain to create buy-in and ensure (internal) customer satisfaction – be a trusted partner and manage internal complexity.
  • Contribute to team development and deliverables, e.g. through leading others and driving strategic initiatives.

You will have heavy exposure at all levels across Novo Nordisk and will navigate the ever changing business needs. Qualifications A relevant master’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, strategic procurement, supply chain management or similar, with great results, and have minimum of 2-4 years of experience within strategic procurement, project management, supply chain or business development in an international organization or management consulting company. Project/process experience could also be relevant as well as exposure to and proven results with senior stakeholders. Other success criteria are
  • Excellent execution and collaboration skills and ability to lead and develop others while making a difference, pursuing opportunities, and ensuring real impact and change.
  • Strong procurement and/or project management toolbox, strategic, innovative and problem-solving mind-set, ability to provide tangible results.
  • Great stakeholder management skills and ability to align with stakeholders upfront on scope, governance, and roles & responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate clearly at all levels of the organisation.
  • Full proficiency in Professional English.
    • About the department Corporate Procurement is anchored with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and responsible for the indirect spend in Novo Nordisk. We build strategies and execute improvement projects to optimize the global indirect spend of DKK 40 billion related to, e.g. R&D activities, Professional Services, Marketing Services, Travel, HR Services, IT and digitalisation.
