We are on a journey to take the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to the next level. Our ambition is to become a trusted supply chain business partner that optimises the end-to-end supply chain with reliable data and transparent trade-off decisions. We have already taken a number of actions to put weight behind our execution and have rolled out our new Integrated Business Planning solution to support the S&OP process. The department is part of the Supply Chain unit within Product Supply. We are responsible for several key processes including the launch of new products, and tactical/strategic sales & operations planning where we ensure supply chain resilience & network optimisation. We are a diverse group of around 50 colleagues from ten different nationalities with various educational backgrounds. The Position
As S&OP Business Partner for Diabetes Vials you will be responsible for driving the S&OP process across two SVP production areas while optimising the end-to-end network together with the Global End-to-end Planners. You will act as a trusted business partner both to the sites and the central business support team. That means you will translate strategies into relevant supply chain actions and flag risks and opportunities along the way. The responsibilities will include: Driving the preparation of decision material and present it to senior management. It will often be triggered by a demand and supply imbalance or an optimisation of the supply network Working very closely with the Global End-to-End Planners who analyse large amounts of data in the Integrated Business Planning Solution Drafting a long list of ideas of how to solve these imbalances and you will be responsible for ensuring strong collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders The aim is to ensure proactive planning to secure uninterrupted supply to patients globally at competitive cost, efficient asset utilisation, including optimum inventory levels, while supporting the Circular4Zero agenda and without comprising on quality or compliance. A work cycle could look like this: You start off with demand handover meetings with the different sales regions. You ask questions to get a better understanding of the assumptions behind a sudden increase in the demand. Before meeting with the production sites to align on the future supply outlook, you review the historical performance data and discuss scenarios with the Global End-to-end Planners on how to solve the imbalance. She has prepared a few scenarios and outlines the impacts on various key metrics. You prepare the decision material with a few key scenarios, simple explanations and ensure effective stakeholder collaboration. Qualifications
You have a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or similar that is supplemented with: Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience from an industry leading company or a top consultancy Solid business understanding combined with hands-on experience from problem solving, ideally from Supply Chain or Operations Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with an innovative approach to problem solving Sharp eye for details, a strong analytical mind and appreciate a firm and consistent structure As a person, you are known for your strong drive, ability to create results and you have an international mind-set. You have excellent collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills and you communicate clearly and concisely. You can adapt your approach quickly depending on the situation as you will work and communicate with people from across the organisation from site planners to senior management.
