The Position As Senior Supply Chain Development Manager, you will drive our Supply Chain Projects in the South and East Europe, Middle East and Africa (SEEMEA) regional office based on Global Supply Chain Strategy, regional commercial plans, and improvement opportunities. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing innovative supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. As part of your role, you will lead projects aimed at optimizing logistics, inventory management, and distribution processes. Your leadership will help drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals. This will happen in close collaboration with the global and regional functions as well as local affiliates. The role reports directly to the SEEMEA Supply Chain Development Director. Your key responsibilities will include: Driving and executing strategic Supply Chain projects in the SEEMEA region, ensuring their effective implementation. Collaboration with the different functions, including the regional Supply Chain head, Affiliates, and International Operations (IO), to set and advance supply chain priorities. Acting as the interface between the different affiliates, ensuring alignment and collaboration on common development initiatives. Taking lead on regional supply chain optimisation and transformation projects, process improvements and driving progress and change in close collaboration with stakeholders. Leading change management activities at the regional, business area and affiliate levels, ensuring best practice sharing and driving the implementation of a continuous improvement mindset in the region. Contributing to regional supply chain transformation program e.g., within supply chain organizational development, and driving progress and change in close collaboration with stakeholders. Supporting change management at regional and affiliate levels, ensuring best practice sharing across regions and contributing to the implementation of a continuous improvement mindset and system in the region. Managing the relations with existing Supply Chain partners, and developing strategies to improve their performance, as well as maintainaining strong relationships with partners to create mutual value proposition. Collaborat iingnternally with the commercial, legal, regulatory, Supply Chain teams to align channel efforts. Development and implementation of new distribution channel partner programs. Leading projects to minimize environmental impact and improve sustainability performance across the supply chain. The role can be based out of one of our offices in either Copenhagen, Warsaw or Istanbul. We offer a hybrid working model in each of the locations. Qualifications We’re searching for an experienced and driven project manager who has experience in Supply Chain operations, stakeholder management, Agile ways of working, strategy development and deployment, and change/transformation management. In order to succeed in the role, you need a strong commercial understanding, a result -driven approach and commitment to creating continuous improvement. Our ideal candidate: Holds a degree in Supply Chain Management or related education and experience working within an international, matrix organization. Has several years of experience in Supply Chain and project management, leading cross -functional and international projects within a fast-paced environment, preferably within highly regulated industries, such as pharma, biotech, or FMCG. Ideally has management consulting experience. Is fluent in English at business level in both written and spoken form. While it is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, we are interested in profiles with management experience within a matrix organization. The SEEMEA Region (South and East Europe, Middle East and Africa) is one of the largest regions in IO and consists of 100+ countries.
