One of our colleagues in Global Supply Chain Management is going on maternity leave. Therefore, we are looking for a new colleague to join us, at the ALK headquarter in Hørsholm. The position

As part of our Global Supply Chain team, you will be the lead contact for our Partner in Japan, handling all related communication on supplying products to the Japanese market.

In order to succeed, you will be working closely with our Production Partner as well as with ALK colleagues in Commercial Operations, Logistics, Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC) and Finance.

Your fields of responsibility

  • Participate in coordinating the entire Supply Process from receiving purchase forecast to shipping and invoicing, by collaborating with our Partner in Japan, with ALK colleagues and with our Production Partner in England.
  • Coordinating the forecast process, and you will analyze forecast updates to understand future demand and impact to the ALK Supply Chain.
  • Follow our production and release process, and by actively communicating to our partners and our internal stakeholders, you will ensure the entire Supply Chain is up to date with the most recent delivery status.
  • Preparing purchase order confirmations, invoices and other SAP transactions to ensure the supply process is reflected in our systems and is aligned with our finance team.
  • As part of the team you will be involved in our sales forecast processes, our production planning processes, and you will be involved when we are bringing new products to the patients.
  • In addition, you will be supporting the VP for Global Supply Chain Management and Business Support with financial budgeting and follow-up.


Your qualifications

  • You hold a Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, Production Planning or Logistics and have 2-5 years' work experience. Alternatively, you have acquired solid experience within the field from working in a Supply Chain team, Customer Service team, Logistics team or similar.
  • Your communication skills in English are solid, both written and verbally.
  • You have a flair for numbers and you have an eye for the details.
  • You thrive on coordinating processes and collaboration with other people.
  • You work in a structured way.
  • You are experienced with SAP and working with Excel and Sharepoint solutions.
