Do you have a strong understanding of Sales & Operations Planning, and are you looking to join a company where your contributions will have a significant impact?
In this position, you will get a chance to apply your experience in supply chain planning to help set the bar for our processes - and shape your own role in an international organization with unique products.
In the role as Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for the Sales & Operations Planning for a global production segment, ensuring that optimal solutions matching demand, supply and inventories are implemented. In doing so, you will help ensure that we utilize our capacity in the best possible way, and deliver to our customers on time.
You will be part of our Global Supply Chain Planning team based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Your key tasks include:
- coordinating and facilitating the Global SiOP process in one or more production areas
- working together with manufacturing sites in balancing and optimizing supply against demand, and ensuring an availability that corresponds to business requirements
- planning and inventory policy governance across all production sites and products/ intermediates, including accruals and scrap
- establishing and maintaining ongoing collaboration with relevant stakeholders within different functions
- supporting and enabling site planning teams within the SiOP process fundamentals
- follow-up on performance, defining and re-evaluating parameters, and driving continuous improvements within Global SiOP
- performing analytics & scenario planning on supply and capacity including revenue and cost effects
- contributing to the improvement of the current SiOP process.

In addition to the Global Supply Chain Planning team, your main collaborators include our local site planning teams, production management and the sales allocation teams. It is key that you are great at what you are doing, have a burning desire to create impact and the ability to teach others how to apply good planning principles and advanced analytics. A skilled Supply Chain Analyst with industry experience
To succeed in this position, you must be a strong communicator and a self-motivated person who thrives in an international environment. You are expected to take initiative to improve, and as a person, you thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. You are able to obtain knowledge on complex business and technical processes, and you understand how to translate that information and make it accessible to relevant stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Moreover, you have:
- a bachelor or master’s degree within a relevant field
- professional experience with Supply Chain Planning
- excellent analytical skills and ability to move between a holistic and detailed perspective
- familiar with a variety of supply chain concepts, practices, and procedures
- knowledge of end-to-end business processes and ability to facilitate discussions between business functions
- excellent communication and presentation skills in English – verbal as well as written
- advanced Excel skills, with experience from working with advanced pivot tables
- experience in programming (VBA/Java/Python etc), and working with tools like Tableau Prep is a plus.
- experience from planning in a ERP based environment, experience from SAP IBP is a plus.
- an understanding of GxP requirements is a plus – perhaps you have a background in the pharmaceutical industry.
