Headquartered in Zurich, International Operations (IO) covers 22 time-zones and has more than 14,000 employees around the world working passionately to change over 20 million patients’ lives each day. The Position
This position is an exciting virtual position based in the International Operations Strategic Operations (IO-SO) Denmark hub sitting in the Finance and Operations (F&O) organisation. It is a newly created position and reports to the Senior Director, IO Procurement based in Zurich. The IO-SO Denmark hub has been created to ensure a close link to HQ for knowledge sharing and collaboration while at the same time being fully part of the IO-SO organisation.
In the role you will be a key contributor in supporting and implementing global and cross regional projects with a particular focus on digitalising the way we work in Procurement across IO. You will be ensuring alignment of global and local solutions with HQ, regions and affiliates and ensure feasibility across.
Furthermore, you will be partnering with International Operations and Regional Procurement in driving and executing sourcing activities as well as category strategies and supplier relationship management.
As an excellent communicator, you will be pro-actively supporting a cross-functional collaboration mind-set by approaching colleagues from other functions to obtain input/feedback on functional projects.

Your main activities will be:
- Driving the digital agenda in IO Procurement through various tracks such as
- Optimising Coupa usage through eSourcing, tactical sourcing, etc.
- Continuous supplier relationship management with system & tool suppliers
- Supporting on lifting IO Procurement to a more strategic function by driving and implementing global strategic sourcing projects such as
- Global project sourcing together with headquarter and North America Operations (e.g. global payroll provider, relocation agency, external workforce, etc.)
- Ensuring alignment and synergies across 7 SVP Regions
- Process optimisation of global solutions in IO such as
- Content hub uptake across regions and affiliates
- MLS roll-out support and global alignment
- Feedback and alignment with HQ and across 7 SVP regions
Qualifications
- Solid business understanding and value chain insights from working in Operations and ideally from an international environment
- Understanding and motivation to drive the digital journey across a diverse organisation with various stakeholders
- Proven experience driving cross-functional and cross-regional projects, creating buy-in from stakeholders from various levels and backgrounds
- Organised, structured, self-motivated working style and an ability to drive several projects in parallel
- Strong experience with sourcing process incl. negotiations, category strategies etc.
- Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in a related field and bring a holistic understanding of the full value chain
- Relevant master's degree within procurement, supply chain, business administration, engineering, environmental science or related field
