We are looking for a Supply Chain Engineer within electronics who will be responsible for the implementation and optimization of the production chain, including all relevant product business processes from start to end customer.
This position will be located in Tinglev or Copenhagen in Denmark or in Qingdao or Shanghai in China depending on the preferences of the right candidate.
As our new Supply Chain Engineer, you will get work with colleagues across Maersk Container Industry (MCI) within R&D, Production, Procurement, and many other departments.

Your key responsibilities are:
• Responsible for the design and implementation of the supply chain strategy for existing and new electronics products.
• Optimize and analyse the business processes and supply chain strategy for existing electronic products including risk assessment, lead time optimizations and quality assurance
• Participate in new product development projects as a core team member
• Working closely together with external suppliers (e.g. EMS’s) to ensure quality and cost targets are met by controlling PFMEAs, control plans, product test strategies, test equipment performance (FAT, SAT), ramp-up/down plans, sample approvals, H&S Assessments, supplier audits, supplier capacity and capabilities
• Lead and make decisions regarding processes, tools, and test equipment including budgets and timelines
• Establish key KPIs and driving supplier performance within quality, delivery, and cost
• Main contact person for external suppliers, logistics, R&D, purchasing, and sales for everything that has to do with technical and operational processes.
• Establish best practices and guidelines for MCI
• Participate in supplier evaluations together with R&D, Quality and Procurement

• Have strong analytically skills

• Be pro-active and results-oriented
Additionally, you need:
• At least 5 years of experience in electronics supply chain engi-neering
• Preferably a background in electronics design and develop-ment and/or electronics production
