About the department
You will join the Product Supply Quality, and IT Finance team. We are responsible for a broad range of Financial Planning, Reporting, Business Controlling, Digital Finance, and production accounting tasks across Product Supply, Quality & IT.

As a Finance Intern, you will primarily be focused on supporting the Business Finance team in general with various financial tasks and be included in driving financial discussions with important stakeholders of the PS Finance organization.

You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (3rd year) or a Master´s Degree in Business, Economics, or equivalent.

About the position
As a Finance Intern, you will primarily be focused on supporting the Business Finance team in general with various financial tasks and be included in driving financial discussions with important stakeholders of the PS Finance organization.
The tasks will amongst others consist of:
- Providing high-quality stakeholder management, support in planning, creating tools for the business to use, and ad hoc financial analysis
- Working with different financial metrics and tools with the aim of generating financial insights for strategic decision making
- Wide range of finance-related tasks with varying complexity
You will receive continuous feedback on your work, and we will support you in building a network inside Novo Nordisk beneficial to your professional and personal growth.
It is an opportunity for a unique learning experience and a chance to turn theory into practice.
Practicalities:
- Internship period: 6 months (with the possibility of an extension)
- Working hours: Flexible, 25-37 hours per week, enabling you to combine this internship with lectures at university, project work, or writing your thesis
- Start date: As soon as possible
- A Danish full-time work permit and enrolment in a BSc. (3rd year) or MSc. are required
- Internships are remunerated if the study track allows
Qualifications
You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (3rd year) or a Master´s Degree in Business, Economics, or equivalent.
- Willing to take part in and learn about complex financial processes with a “can-do attitude” and proactive communication attributes skills
- Strong and reliable team player, who can support, but at the same time challenge your teammates in the strategic decision making
- Excellent communication with fluency in spoken and written English is required
- Intellectually curious, have a strong drive to succeed, a high level of energy, and the ability to work independently
- Experience with various types of financial metrics and a fast learner with a solution-oriented mindset
