The position As Project Manager you will take full responsibility for owning your projects and be responsible for the day-to-day management of delivering projects. You will be engaged from initial idea to execution and final handover of initiatives preparing our supply chain for the future. You will deliver high-quality and impactful solutions as well as ensuring that the strategic targets are applied actively across the supply chain. Some of your key responsibilities include to: Execute on strategic transformation projects Build, maintain, communicate, and effectively manage against detailed project schedules Develop and manage cross-functional development of scope, deliverables, timelines, and execution Lead multi-disciplinary project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle providing coaching, motivation, and inspiration Ensure tight inter-team coordination/communication and end-end visibility Work closely with the Project Owner, communicate with end-user and team members on an ongoing basis and ensure changing resource and project requirements are met and understood Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to have: A master degree in Economics, Finance, Supply chain management, Engineering or any other relevant field At least 5 years of proven project management experience Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies A successful track record of managing multiple projects and workstreams in a fast-paced environment Fluency in English, both written and spoken. As a person, you possess strong communication and collaboration skills. You are structured with highly analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills. You are motivated and work well under pressure. You respect the opinion of others; yet can drive a decision through the team. Your time-management skills are excellent. You are able to decisively prioritize, triage, and make real-time decisions as well as following-up and following through. Last but not least, you think strategically and anticipate changes that could affect projects. About the department
You will be part of the Strategy and Business Development department, which is responsible for driving the strategic development and distribution of Sourcing Operations (SoOp) that has the overall responsibility for the incoming supply chain in Novo Nordisk and consists of 400 dedicated employees.
