The position In this role, you will work together with a broad group of colleagues across the organization, including project managers, executive offices and coordinators in our global research and development sites, as well as system management colleagues based in India. You will report to the Manager of R&ED Governance & Portfolio Data. Your primary focus will be business system ownership for the Global Project Planner (GPP) system and Global Resource Allocation System (GRAS). These two systems are backbone critical to our management of our drug projects and resources. Your responsibilities will include: Connecting across the research and development organisation to understand changing business needs in relation to the GPP and GRAS system and project data management Scoping and defining business requirements for system and business process improvement in line with evolving business needs Key driver for resource allocation planning in defined time periods throughout the year including data output Aligning requirements with stakeholders across the organisation and collaborating with relevant vendor(s) for implementation Conducting training for users of the system throughout the organisation Working closely with the system management team to resolve queries or issues raised by system users, access management and data output queries Improving and designing new processes around project data management control and driving data quality improvement initiatives The job is located preferably in Bagsværd, Denmark and we work in a dynamic and flexible setting. Qualifications You haveas aminimum a bachelor’s degree in business administration, IT, engineering, or other related fields,plus3+ years of relevant working experience within a business support function. To succeed in this role, we expect you to have the following qualifications: Experience working in an international, corporate setting, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry Familiarity with master data handling and scoping business requirements Ability to work with many different stakeholders at different organisational levels and build a strong network Verbal and written communication skills in English on a business level Experience in building or maintaining IT systems (general understanding of the IT landscape is a plus) As a person you are dedicated, curious to learn, and have strong communication skills. About the department We are looking for a Business Analyst to join the R&ED Governance & Portfolio Data team. We are energised by our team responsibility for maintaining portfolio data systems, providing portfolio information, and supporting project and portfolio governance. R&ED Strategy, Portfolio & Operations is responsible for working with the R&ED organisation, governance and leadership in setting and communicating the strategic direction for the R&ED organisation and ensuring data-driven R&ED project portfolio decision making. Together this supports the execution of the R&ED and corporate strategies with the ambition to deliver optimal pipeline value for Novo Nordisk. To accomplish these objectives, the area works collaboratively with all functional areas within R&ED as well as across the Novo Nordisk enterprise.
