The team waiting for you Our new Senior M&A will be based in Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT, M&A Team), reporting to the Vice President of DD&IT, M&A. For the past year we have established the Core M&A Team, with the purpose of handling the expected inflow of M&A transactions impacting DD&IT. While the role will organisationally be based Strategy & Transformation, it will be presenting all of DD&IT as well as having diverse stakeholders across the [xxxxx] value chain. This team will have focus on Due Diligence and early Integration (up until Day 100) for Corporate Assets. Furthermore, the team will focus on continuous improvements in the M&A area. Strategy & Transformation is a newly established area with ~100 employees, mainly based out of Denmark (Ballerup). The area also consists of departments such as IT-Strategy, Communication, Enterprise Architecture, Business Development as well as a strategic transformation program. Behind the title The Senior Manager M&A will be lead the team that takes responsibility of all M&A related activites for Corporate Assets. Your responsibilities will be to:
  • Lead the team and ensure to constantly improve the way we work
  • Actively participate in building up capabilities in the Core M&A team as well as across DD&IT to ensure constant improvement in how we integrate and how we become more efficient
  • Communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders globally, and informally make an impact for the better of the team and the ambitious M&A agenda
  • Ensure to include other areas of DD&IT when needed in the relevant phases of the transaction
  • What we scout for To succeed in this role, we imagine the ideal candidate meets the following criteria:
  • Master’s degree in business, IT or another relevant field
  • +10 years of experience in IT, preferably in large complex organisations
  • Previous experience in M&A, where you have been part of the whole process
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build credibility and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Team player and can build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders on all levels of an organisation
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a busy and global environment where priorities change, and fast decisions are needed to move on
