About the department The position as Strategy Partner is placed in the Business Support department for Device Manufacturing & Sourcing (DMS) in Hillerød. DMS is responsible for the global supply chain of high-quality components and preassembled parts for our internal customers within prefilled and durable devices. The unit consists of 700 engaged colleagues that work with both sourcing of components from our global network of 40 suppliers and manufacturing from our own high volume manufacturing site. You will be working closely with the head of DMS and the site management team and hence be covering a variety of complex and exciting tasks – always led by the needs, challenges, and opportunities of the business.
The position Together with a strong team, you will be responsible to drive strategy development for DMS. You will have the opportunity to be part of a wide range of assignments involving a variety of stakeholders. You will: Conduct scenario analysis, develop business cases and make recommendations to facilitate strategic decision-making within manufacturing, sourcing and supply chain, in collaboration with the line of business and management team. Work closely with stakeholders from different functions and levels of the company to analyse exploratory scenarios and assess their impact on Product Supply, Quality and IT, as well as on Novo Nordisk as a whole. Drive the processes for business reviews and business planning for DMS Assignments and analyses are wide-ranging, from capacity expansions to the development of new organisational set-ups - so you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and have an impact in many different areas. You will report to the Director of DMS Business Support. Qualifications To succeed in this position, you should have: A relevant master’s degree and at least four years of professional experience in the field of strategy, management consulting or in a similar function A proven track record of driving strategic projects and advising Senior Leadership A well-developed toolbox for working with business cases and strategic analyses Strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset and holistic problem-solving approach Fluency in both spoken and written English. As a person, you are ambitious, structured and have a passion for strategy development. You approach tasks with a positive attitude, consider multiple perspectives and deliver high-quality results. The position requires a high level of strategic thinking as well as attention to detail, as you will impact important long-term decisions for Novo Nordisk.
