Our Global Trial Planning area is growing, and we are therefore looking for an experienced Personal Assistant to support the Vice President (VP) of Global Trial Planning. The position
As Personal Assistant to the VP, you are offered a challenging and exciting position in a dynamic environment. Your main area of responsibilities will be the administrative support to the VP of the Global Trial Planning which includes tasks such as:
  • Support the VP and Management team with business processes: you will ensure optimal calendar management, provide timely input to annual processes in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Assist the area in the line of business (LoB) budget planning and follow up
  • Participate in HR management and general administrative support such as recruitment and onboarding
  • Assist the VP during the organisational development of the VP function – including maintaining internal communication platforms to broaden the knowledge of our area and our activities across the organisation
  • There will also be a possibility to support cross-functional teams tasked with designing, developing and implementing strategic change-projects that are endorsed by management and where GTP play a significant role
  • Collaborate and work closely with the CVP Assistant team
  • In this position, you will also have the possibility to be involved in various cross functional business processes within the Global Trial Planning function with many stakeholders.     To be considered for this position, we expect you to:
  • Hold an administrative education
  • Have experience in a similar position
  • Be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Have a flair for working with IT systems
  • As a person, you are flexible, proactive, open-minded and a dedicated team player with the ability and wish to take on responsibilities in support of the VP and to collaborate closely with the other assistants in- and outside the area. You are a fast and eager to learn and to gain business understanding and possess great communication skills. You can work independently, have a well-structured approach to your tasks and capability of maintaining overview when under pressure. In addition, you thrive in a global environment of continuous development, and you maintain focus on high quality and results. About the department
    Global Trial Planning is anchored in Trial Portfolio Management and Innovation (TPMandI) in Clinical Drug Development and is in Søborg. We are approximately 13 colleagues in the department but continuously growing, and we work closely with all other skill areas in Clinical Drug Development, as well as with our Clinical Drug Development Global Business Services (GD GBS) in India, and our global Clinical, Medical & Regulatory (CMR) organisation. We are a relatively diverse group in terms of personal profiles, previous experiences, and educations. One thing we have in common is a background in Life Sciences, and a strong appreciation for how our differences are strengthening our team and its deliverables. The TPM&I area are responsible for providing strategic leadership in the areas of Clinical Operations, Global Trial Office and Vendor Management, Risk Based Quality Management and R&D Compliance. In Clinical Drug Development, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to product launch. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations, and business ethics.
