In MAC we have vast experience as an air cargo and ACMI operator, currently operating and managing a fleet consisting of +/-20 Boeing freighters with bases in Germany, and Billund, Denmark. The fleet of aircraft will soon be expanded with Boeing 777 freighters to support our long-haul operation.

You will become part of the Maersk Air Cargo leadership team with direct reference to our Global Head of Maersk Air Cargo. About the role


Our Global Head of Maersk Air Cargo is currently looking for an Executive Assistant to support him and the rest of the leadership team with tasks such as driving the management meeting agenda, following up on actions and conclusions, office administration and management office communication – e.g. preparation of communication briefs, Townhall material etc.

We are seeking an energetic and well-organized Executive Assistant, who will serve as the right hand to our leadership team which further include keeping track of management whereabouts, functional agenda, and keeping legal and contractual documentation updated and structured. Teamwork and collaboration are key elements in your approach to work, teams, and colleagues.

Pragmatic problem-solving is part of your mentality, and you find great pleasure in overcoming various obstacles while following through on initiatives. Needless to say, you have an open mind and a respectful approach to all your colleagues and stakeholders.

As the Executive Assistant at MAC, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Administration support: Support with general administration, expense management, visitors, and coordination during “out of office” periods.

  • Coordination with Maersk Group functions: Aligning agenda, group meetings, and policies with Maersk HQ and “Asset Management Leadership Team”.

  • Stakeholder Management: Interact with and keep relevant stakeholders informed of operational activities while addressing queries and resolving ad hoc issues.

  • Communication: Coordinate bi-weekly and monthly “Head of” communication to entire MAC workforce.

  • Travel arrangement: Manage and book travels for the leadership team while ensuring compliance to travel policy policy and cost-consciousness.


What are we looking for


  • An exceptional ability to organize and align management agenda, calendars, and ways of working.

  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities.

  • Proven ability to handle highly confidential information accordingly.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and can-do attitude.

  • Proactive and detail oriented.

  • Advanced skills within the Microsoft office suite.

  • Fluency in English and Danish (writing and oral).

  • Valid EU work permit.
