About the role
Our Global Head of Ocean Network Product is currently looking for an Executive Assistant to support him with tasks such as driving the management meeting agenda, following up on actions and conclusions, office administration and management office communication – e.g. preparation of communication briefs, Townhall material etc.
We are seeking an experienced, energetic and well-organized Executive Assistant, who will serve as the right hand to the leader, and keep track of management whereabouts, functional agenda, and keeping legal and contractual documentation updated and structured. Teamwork and collaboration are key elements in your approach to work, teams, and colleagues.
To be successful in the role, pragmatic problem-solving is required, and the ideal candidate finds great pleasure in overcoming various obstacles while following through on initiatives. Needless to say, they have an open mind and a respectful approach to all of their colleagues and stakeholders.
As an Executive Assistant in Maersk you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Administration support: Support with general administration, Workday delegation, expense management, visitors, and coordination during “out of office” periods.
- Stakeholder Management: Interact with and keep relevant stakeholders informed of operational activities while addressing queries and resolving ad hoc issues.
- Communication: Coordinate monthly leadership check-in meetings, and quarterly Fireside chats with the Ocean Network teams, maintain distribution lists.
- Event Management: Including booking off-sites and co-ordinating social events
- Travel arrangement: Manage and book travels for the leader while ensuring compliance to travel policy and cost-consciousness.
** In addition to supporting the Head of Ocean Network Product, you will also provide administrative support (travel arrangements, expenses and booking offsites) to 2-3 senior directors within the team.

- An exceptional ability to organize and align management agenda, calendars, and ways of working.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to handle highly confidential information accordingly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and can-do attitude.
- Proactive and detail oriented.
- Advanced skills within the Microsoft office suite.
- Fluency in English (writing and verbal/oral).
- Valid EU work permit.
