Focus on resources and project portfolios
The Project Resources Manager is a new position in our Project department. The Copenhagen Metro has evolved from maintenance to include replacement, improvement, and development. This transition places greater demands on Metro Service's ability to deliver projects effectively for the benefit of our stakeholders and customers.

As our project portfolios grow and become more complex, your role will focus on managing department resources and balancing portfolios to ensure resources are available to fulfill organizational goals and objectives.

Your tasks will also include:
• Manage project resources, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Prepare and execute resource capacity plans and schedules.
• Allocate resources to projects, assigning appropriate personnel to roles.
• Forecast and identify qualifications for new employees as needed.
• Address resource demands for successful project delivery.
• Participate in portfolio planning and meetings with executives and project managers.
• Maintain effective project governance for success and compliance.
• Cultivate relationships with stakeholders for integrated planning and execution.
• Ensure project outcomes through risk management, problem-solving, and best practices.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders for alignment based on resource analysis.
• Adapt project strategies to evolving portfolio needs.
• Participate in embedding project delivery in Metro Service’s organizational culture.

Experienced Project Resource Manager with a well-equipped toolbox
To succeed in this role, it is important that you have extensive experience with project planning and the ability to navigate complex project landscapes and collaborative skills to motivate teams and drive project success. Additionally, we are looking for someone who has:

• A bachelor's or master’s degree in project management, engineering, or a related field.
• A portfolio management and resource planning background, with experience in delivering projects on time and within scope, as well as allocating resources and assigning project roles.
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies. PRINCE2 is an advantage.
• Experience in defining and developing project governance.
• Proficiency in risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making.
• The ability to express themselves clearly in written and spoken English.

Moreover, it is beneficial to have experience in defining and developing governance for projects, programmes, and portfolios, as well as proficiency within the Office package (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Project, Excel, PowerPoint).
