The Diabetes project is looking for an experienced administrative assistant to support the Vice President (VP) of Diabetes, Clinical Operations. Apply now for a life-changing career! The position Your main area of responsibilities will be to support the VP and the newly established leadership team with business processes, all supporting the ambition of providing innovation to the organization. Your main tasks will be: Line of business budget planning and follow up HR management including CAPSYS resource administration Provide input to annual processes in collaboration with stakeholders Acts as an informal leader in the VP's administrative team, ensuring optimal workflows in the group and across projects. Various ad hoc tasks supporting the management team, including calendar and meeting management. As Personal Assistant to the VP, you are offered a challenging and exciting position in a dynamic environment. Qualifications To succeed in this role you must have the following qualifications: Extensive experience (minimum 3 years) from a similar administrative position Highly developed budget management skills and passion for taking the lead in complex budget processes. Digital mindset with profound IT experience. Knowledge of SAP is an advantage. Great stakeholder management skills. Excellent command of written and spoken English As a person you are a dedicated, curious, and proactive team player with the ability and wish to take on responsibilities in support of the VP and the leadership team. You can take the lead on various business processes within the Diabetes Clinical Operations area, and you have a well-structured approach also when you are under pressure. You thrive working with budgets and creating a great overview in complex systems, and you enjoy optimizing processes with a digital mindset to ensure high quality and results. You demonstrate extensive business understanding and master professional communication skills. About the department The Diabetes project area is anchored in Clinical Drug Development under our Development organisation. We are responsible for an exciting pipeline of clinical development programmes targeting people living with type 1 and type 2 diabetes and our trial activities range from phase 1 to phase 4 – including Real-World Evidence (RWE) activities, virtual and decentralised trials, and non-interventional studies. We collaborate closely across many skill areas and together we all contribute with our high level of expertise. In Diabetes, Clinical Operations you will be part of a high performing culture with focus on patient needs, science, cross-functional collaboration, and personal development.
