The position
As a Student Assistant in SubLCM Insights & Strategy, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, being at the intersection of data analytics, process optimisation, project management, and stakeholder management. Key activities are included, but are not limited to: Data Analytics Developing Business Intelligence solutions to handle large datasets across the organisation Updating and creating FTE capacity forecasts across SubLCM Participating and having responsibility for driving various internal development projects e.g., with the purpose of improving data quality or optimising processes Project management/Stakeholder management Establishing and implementing business cases for transformational projects Supporting leadership teams in defining and realizing strategic aspirations Strategic workforce planning and resource forecasting, including creating presentations and presenting the outcome In our department, we invest strongly in our Students and Interns. Start date: As soon as possible or 1st of October. Please note, a Danish work permit is required, and you need to be a student to apply for the position. Furthermore, you are expected to work 15-20 hours per week.
Qualifications
You are pursuing a relevant Bachelor's or Master’s degree within Data Science, Economics, or other similar study programs. And ideally you are in the last year of your Bachelor's or at least 1.5 years left of your Master’s.
To succeed in this role, you have: Strong analytical skills as an advanced user of MS Excel with the capability to leverage data to produce insights and recommendations Curiosity with no afraid to reach out and ask investigative questions Fluency in written and spoken English Preference (nice to have): Experience with Alteryx, Tableau, or PowerBI You are expected to be a reliable team player, who is service-minded and capable of supporting, but at the same time challenging your teammates in strategic decision-making.
About the department
Submissions and Life Cycle Management are part of the R&D area in Novo Nordisk. We are a team of approx. 1.200 people pursuing better outcomes for patients and are engaged in product development activities from early development to commercialisation. We aspire to demonstrate industry-leading performance within our domains: develop differentiated products, lead submission excellence, and safeguard patients’ safety.
In this context, our team is responsible for a variety of activities ranging from qualitative processes such as project management and strategic assessments to quantitative processes, including data analysis, Business Intelligence reporting, and the creation of business cases for new strategic initiatives. Our main goal is to provide solid data analytics to drive more informed decision-making.
In the Insights & Strategy team, you will have 10 great colleagues with diverse educational backgrounds representing 5 different nationalities. You will become a part of a high-performing team where we support each other and work together to ensure everyone excels to their full potential.
