Plant & Hybrid Solutions is a function in Vestas Power Solutions (R&D) and delivers new power plant product variants by initiating project execution across the value chain to ensure delivery of products on time to market, without compromising quality and product costs. Through innovation, development and continuous product improvements, we continuously develop our products and technologies to reduce the cost of energy to ensure the highest possible value to our customers and to Vestas.
In "Communication Infrastructure & Cyber Security" we develop the IT infrastructure solutions for Vestas Power plants. The work is primarily revolving R&D of new solutions to meet tomorrow's demands within data collection, power plant control and Cyber Security. The department is part of a product module that also includes Vestas SCADA solution.
The department consists of experienced Hardware, Network and Cyber Security specialists. The department is collaborating closely with Vestas design hub in Porto, Global IT and Vestas Service organisation.
Vestas has large ambitions in the area of cybersecurity, and we are rapidly increasing activity in many departments. To ensure that we stay effective, we are looking for an additional leader to propel the agenda.

In addition, we prefer that you have experience with project management, taken leadership courses and had training in Agile methods & Jira. It is also beneficial if you have knowledge of IEC 62443, but not required.

Additional information
Your base will be in Aarhus N, Denmark, but you are expected to travel to Vestas sites internationally when needed. The position requires up to 25 days of annual travel activity.

- People leadership including administration, management and development
- Accountable for department deliveries including budget and timeline
- Mapping and ensuring the right competencies within the department
- Ensuring a good collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Building an efficient platform of partners (suppliers) within the area of Network and Cyber Security
Qualifications
To succeed in the role, you are likely to have the following qualifications:
- Solid leadership experience preferably in the OT domain, combined with IT knowledge, SCADA and with large knowledge of the ecosystem, supplier landscape within network and Cyber security
- A relevant Masters’ degree within the field of IT/OT
- Cyber Security certifications: GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) and/or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
In addition, we prefer that you have experience with project management, taken leadership courses and had training in Agile methods & Jira. It is also beneficial if you have knowledge of IEC 62443, but not required.
