Tasks & responsibilities: You will…
… be overall responsible for developing and deploying the Global Quality Strategy of MHI Vestas Offshore Wind. By establishing and implementing steering committee for main processes you will be a key factor in ensuring cross-functional quality development and alignment.
As Head of Global Quality you will manage and drive the continuous improvement of quality standards that will lead to business improvement. Reporting to the Head of QHSE & IT you will ensure the definitions and deployment of core business processes, and coordinate uniformity and high quality communications across the business.
Acting as a business process reference for the global process owner, you will be establishing quality principles and putting quality on the agenda.
You will also be responsible for:
Ensuring MVOW’s Quality Management System and assure company-wide, consistent best practice through the validation of process and the control of documentation. Developing, implementing and maintaining a risk-based quality strategy, associated Project Quality Plan (PQP) and assurance plans capable of achieving the overall project quality objectives as defined in the Project Execution Plan (PEP). Ensuring reporting of cost of quality and performance. Consolidating quality performance monitoring and benchmarking and define methods and tools to evaluate products and processes Implementing reporting and tools for Global Planning. Managing and developing a team of highly skilled and competent employees
Skills & experience: Our new colleague…
…has a minimum of 10+ years of experience working in a similar position in an international company, including 5+ years in quality and 5+ years in management. The role as Head of Quality Management requires strong leadership skills in change management, managerial courage and a strategic mindset with the ability to simplify sometimes complex concepts and requirements and make yourself understood across cultural and language barriers.
We expect that you:
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar, and an MBA degree or equivalent Has extensive experience with quality management systems and are certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001) Possess a fact based and data driven attitude Are familiar with SAP or other product lifecycle management software Has knowledge of continuous improvement processes, lean and six sigma including project management experience Are aware of standards and their application in the renewable products and industry Are customer-focused, proactive and results-oriented. Further, you are resilient and have the humility to continue to learn and improve.
