Finance Group Finance Power Solutions Costing
Power Solutions Costing is a part of Group Finance and responsible for all product costs in Vestas. Our key responsibility is ensuring an accurate group cost on current products as well as support to the development organisation ensuring the right decisions are made regarding future products. An accurate product cost understanding is essential to enable commercial success with current products and ensure the right products are developed for the future.
We are a diverse team with various backgrounds in finance and engineering who work closely with our colleagues across Vestas in R&D, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to create transparent and reliable cost estimates for analysis and decision purposes while keeping stakeholders accountable for gaps and follow-up.

We are looking for a new colleague who can combine working with multiple stakeholders and data-driven analysis to support cost tracking and validation.
Responsibilities
- Be an integrated part of several module/component management teams and act as a trusted advisor on cost-related topics
- Provide module management teams with accurate and transparent reporting on product and value chain cost and support counter actions and follow up when needed
- Ensure a cost focus and be the costing expert within the module management teams
- Drive Product Cost analysis to support strategic product decisions considering the entire value chain – Development, BoM, Transport, Installation and Service
- Work together with the rest of the Power Solutions Costings team to ensure the best possible cost estimates are available for future products
Qualifications
To succeed with the above-mentioned responsibilities, we envision that you have:
- Experience as Finance Manager, Manufacturing Controller, Product Manager, Cost engineer, or similar
- Experience from a large manufacturing company could also provide a solid background (Wind industry experience is beneficial but not required)
- A financial educational background (from university) with a technical curious mindset or an engineering degree combined with business understanding and commercial interest
- Expected minimum 5-8 years working experience within finance, engineering, manufacturing, or procurement
- Experience in presenting complex analysis to senior stakeholders and decision-makers

- Structured and analytical, transparent and pragmatic

- Professional communication skills and comfortable doing presentations
- Ability to motivate and influence
- Confident and independent being able to act and make decisions on your own

- Good system and business process understanding
