Power Solutions Applications, Controls & Electrical Power SI Project Management
As a Project Manager in Power SI Project Management you will be a part of a team of highly skilled project managers and trainees located in both Denmark, Portugal, and Chennai. In our department we are accountable for establishing, operating, and executing the project portfolio of power plant solutions to secure stable grid connections around the world. We lead and execute our projects according to our execution model in an efficient way from scoping to market delivery. Responsibilities
You will drive and lead projects out of our R&D HQ in Denmark, but the projects have a global reach with teams and stakeholders worldwide. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle and the commercial output of our projects delivered through our stage-gate execution model:

Additional information
Your work location will be in Aarhus N, DK. Some travel activities are accepted and will be around 5-10 days/year.

Power Solutions Applications, Controls & Electrical Power SI Project Management
As a Project Manager in Power SI Project Management you will be a part of a team of highly skilled project managers and trainees located in both Denmark, Portugal, and Chennai. We lead and execute our projects according to our execution model in an efficient way from scoping to market delivery. Responsibilities
You will drive and lead projects out of our R&D HQ in Denmark, but the projects have a global reach with teams and stakeholders worldwide. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle and the commercial output of our projects delivered through our stage-gate execution model:
- Scope, initiate and execute Power SI module and technology projects
- Be accountable for your own budgets, timelines, and project plans
- Accountable for planning, including technical reviews, project management reviews and gate recommendations according to the operating model of Vestas
- Monitor progress and escalate risks and deviations timely to find mitigations to issues
- Communicate clearly to the complete stakeholder map, and lead downwards, upwards, and lateral in the organisation
- Work closely with line management to secure right staffing and timely initiation of the projects and set the teams up for success
- Responsibility for own process excellence initiatives
Qualifications
- You have a technical or other relevant degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.). An engineering degree within electrical, IT or similar would be an advantage, but not a requirement
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience with project management and minimum 5-7 years in total in international companies
- You have experience with project management in large matrix organizations and you have experience managing stakeholders on senior level (up to Vice President level)
- You have a good understanding of different execution, governance and budget models
- You are fluent in English, both written and verbally
- Experience with managing software projects in agile environments is an advantage
Competencies
- You already master the toolbox within project management and can balance the effort between project leadership and project management
- Experience with agile methodologies for software development will be an advantage
- You have the ability to inspire and people listen to you when you present your points with confidence and valid arguments
- You are able to lead projects across different cultures and you are present even though some will be managed remotely
- You embrace changes and you are leading your surroundings through the changing environment
- You have strong IT skills and are able to quickly understand and read systems and dependencies between systems
