Head of SAP Applications to Royal Unibrew

We call it a journey because Royal Unibrew is experiencing rapid growth and expansion, where IT is and becomes an integral part of all business areas and plans. From IT this requires, e.g., technology and architecture to drive innovation, stability and standardization, proactive business partnering and not least efficient and business-centred project management.
The role works out of Royal Unibrew’s Group HQ in Faxe and with the flexibility to work from home when suitable, covers SAP applications internationally across all sites and reports directly to the CIO and is part of Group IT’s management team. Expected travelling will, on average, be 2-3 days monthly.
Management, development and support of all key SAP applications
As Head of SAP Applications, you are responsible for the application development, implementation and support in all SAP applications. You manage a team of ten highly skilled Application Consultants, where you make sure to continuously develop their skills and capabilities to meet the emerging needs of the business.
Besides managing your team and keeping an overview of and prioritizing the projects, you drive the superuser team together with experienced and engaged coordinators and are an active member of the IT management team. In addition, you are responsible for budget management, aligning plans and priorities directly with key stakeholders across the different markets, and occasionally, you act as a project manager in strategically important projects / international rollouts.
A true people person, with people management and SAP experience
We believe that you hold a relevant bachelor or master degree that has equipped you with a strong abstraction level, analytical skills and business acumen. Your background may be from a combination of consultancy and industry experience from an international company, where the supply chain / logistics play an integral part. You have experience from people- and project management within SAP application development, implementation and support. Because of your experience from complex organizational and business set-ups, you are strong in stakeholder management and communication; skills, you consider key in building cross-organizational relations and consensus. You are fluent in English.
As a person, you have a strong focus on results and prefer to take one small step forward rather than waiting for the perfect solution. People management comes naturally to you, and you consider yourself to be an empathetic and caring leader, who can set boundaries and objectives, with respect to your team’s skills and motivation. As a leader, you are ambitious about what you and your team can achieve, and you know when to push and support others. You combine your experience and skills with a pragmatic approach, a great smile and a good sense of humour.
