Finance Vestas Legal & Compliance Global Legal Offshore
In the Global Legal Offshore department, we work with the offshore sales and service transactions in Vestas. We are a dedicated and diverse team of attorneys looking forward to welcoming you in an exciting role where your primary responsibility will be tender responses and negotiation of international, large and complex sales transactions for offshore wind, while working closely together with your global offshore legal colleagues.

Finance Vestas Legal & Compliance Global Legal Offshore
In the Global Legal Offshore department, we work with the offshore sales and service transactions in Vestas. We are a dedicated and diverse team of attorneys looking forward to welcoming you in an exciting role where your primary responsibility will be tender responses and negotiation of international, large and complex sales transactions for offshore wind, while working closely together with your global offshore legal colleagues.
Responsibilities
As part of our transaction team your responsibilities will cover to:
- Negotiate international wind turbine transactions for the sale and service of wind turbines, including drafting and negotiating both turbine supply agreements, service and availability agreements
- Respond to tenders from our customers and advise the organisation during the tender phase and negotiate pre-engineering agreements and term sheets
- Provide contractual and legal training to various departments in the regions of the global Vestas organisation
- Provide general legal advice
Negotiations may take place internationally which will require flexibility in relation to travelling.
Qualifications
- Relevant legal degree at masters’ level
- Solid experience with drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts, and preferably also transactions, in English
- Significant experience from working in a large corporations’ legal department and/or in a law firm
- Great negotiation and communication skills
- Fluent in verbal and written English
- Professional commercial mindset and an interest in learning further about commercial and technical issues
- Preferably experience within wind power projects and/or offshore wind power projects, including negotiation of turbine supply agreements and service & availability agreements, however this is not a pre-requisite

- Organised and efficient with a good ability to define priorities and figuring out the necessary processes to get things done and create value
