In this role, you will join our Business Support unit, where we connect the dots by acting as a business partner to management while working together with our global IT and production sites to realise our business goals and secure products to our patients.
About the department
Diabetes Finished Products (DFP) is part of Product Supply. Our 7 sites in 5 countries globally formulate, fill, assemble and pack the entire portfolio of diabetes products. Management, central staff functions and Manufacturing Development are situated in Denmark. We work together globally on driving and developing our business and production processes, where digitalisation is playing an increasingly important role.
The position
The Director of IT & Digital Transformation (DT) is heading up a function that has the strategic responsibility for IT & Automation across our DFP units, which includes working with management and our production sites. Further, the role is responsible for securing IT Compliance and IT Security, while also driving a strong life cycle management of our systems to secure we have the foundation needed to drive and scale our digital/technology journey in DFP.
In addition, this person will be acting as a sparring partner to management in driving the digital agenda, where we will increase our use of data analytics/advanced analytics in supporting functions and across the organisation, where use cases, capabilities and opportunities need to be defined and developed. The role is also responsible for driving our digital projects, with an experienced group of project managers, and managing our global project portfolio, where we act in a governing role to ensure the prioritisation and alignment of projects across our network.
Finally, the person will be a member of the Business Support Management Team and also responsible for the DFP IT & DT department, with budget and people responsibility of a team of ~15 people and with responsibility for the global IT manager network.
Qualifications
You have minimum 5+ years of experience within IT & Automation and project/portfolio management. You have demonstrated an ability to work across an organisation with various stakeholders, with an ability to set direction and align across a global organisation.
You are an experienced people leader and known for collaboration, a can-do attitude and an ability to lead through others in a complex stakeholder landscape. You are a true IT Business Partner, demonstrating and utilising thorough insights into our Novo Nordisk business to secure a sound IT foundation within our unit to scale/accelerate our digital journey. You can also work strategically to identify and address the drivers of our business today and in the future.
Finally, you will have good English and presentation skills, with an ability to translate technology and business strategy into practical plans for line of business. Further, you will have a flair for digital tools, analytics and digitalisation, with a track record for working with these, with global implementation experience a plus.
