Manager of Sales Analysis and Insights - Maternity cover from June/July 2020
We are looking for a strong leader to take up the role as Manager of Sales Analysis and Insights in Business Finance. About the department
Sales Analysis and Insights is part of Corporate Financial Planning and responsible for the financial management of our two Operating Units, North America Operations and International Operations. Based on a strong finance partnering mind-set, the overall aim is to deliver business insight to our stakeholders during financial planning processes, internal and external management reporting, and through forward looking sales forecasting, by combining strong financial competencies with solid business understanding.
The job
As manager of Sales Analysis and Insights you will be heading up a team of 4 highly talented employees in Denmark and 3 indirect reports in Bangalore, India. Further to this, you will work in close collaboration with peers and colleagues from especially the two Operating Units to secure strong financial management and insights. As manager of Sales Analysis and Insights you are expected to set direction for the team and secure a continuous focus on personal development in the team. You will together with the team provide insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders across Novo Nordisk. Further, to support the CFP ambition of driving standardisation and automation across departments, you are responsible for the continued focus on driving the finance excellence agenda including BI initiatives.
Qualifications
You hold a master’s degree within business or economics and have at least 5-6 years of relevant working experience. You have worked in various functional areas and have a solid understanding of the Novo Nordisk value chain and the pharmaceutical industry. Ideally, you have previously worked with the Operating Units and have demonstrated the ability to interact with senior stakeholders, where you have been capable of driving an agenda independently. You have a flair for details and therefore an interest in learning and understanding the business behind the numbers. The atmosphere in the department is informal but ambitious, so if you are ready to walk the extra mile to secure development of the department, while holding on to your good sense of humour, you are the kind of person we are looking for.
