High quality clinical trial processes & systems
As Head of Clinical Operations Support you will be leading a key area in Global Clinical Operations that ensures we have efficient, compliant processes & systems. You will be responsible for driving improvements of cross functional processes within LEO Pharma and GCO as well as ensuring compliance advice (GCP) and manage process training in collaboration with subject matter experts.
Furthermore, you will ensure that our day to day operation is supported by up to date IT systems and that data and reports are at hand to help our trial teams make data-driven decisions.
The trial master files as a key deliverable
You will be leading the Clinical Administration functions that ensures the high quality of our clinical documentation and plays a key role in the trial teams as coordinators of trial master files. Furthermore, the team is responsible for the payment of HCPs and investigational sites participating in the clinical trials.
The position is based at LEO Pharma’s headquarters in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen. Your primary tasks will be to:
Head a team of four highly skilled department managers Driving the continuous optimizations and maintenance of processes and systems that ensures compliant and efficient (cost, time) clinical investigation Ensure that the trial master files are inspection ready at all times Build and nurture a team culture of mutual trust, cooperation and common drive for results. Coach, guide and develop your team members in a positive and inspiring way Ensure strong collaboration with the Global Clinical Operations (GCO) Leadership Team and other key stakeholders – e.g. Medical Science, Global IT, Quality Contribute to the overall direction setting as part of GCO Leadership Team
Experienced manager in Pharma R&D and with solid leadership skills
You have a life science degree at Master’s level – e.g. Pharmacist or similar. Further, you have a minimum of 10 years’ clinical trial experience and a track record of driving and implementing new solutions and changes.
You have solid experience as people manager and you are known for your open-minded and positive leadership style. You drive for results and even though you thrive on setting the direction and taking the lead, nothing motivates you like accomplishing results by strong team work. Additionally, you have the toolbox to build, motivate and inspire high performance teams with a common drive for success. In this you take benefit from your excellent communication skills that enable you to bring your messages across in an easy understandable way, written as spoken.
As part of a rapidly growing organisation you must also thrive in an environment of change and be able to navigate in a constructive way without having manuals and procedures for each and every process.

Clinical Operations Support comprises 4 departments in Global Clinical Operations: Process Management, Systems & Analytics and 2 Clinical Administration departments. In total, we are app. 40 employees primarily based in DK but also in Madison, US.
