Group Accounting is based in Ballerup and takes care of the accounting for GN Store Nord A/S, GN Audio A/S, GN Hearing A/S and a few Nordic GN companies.
The department is busy and professional, consisting of 4 different teams (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Finance & Reporting, and Payroll) that cooperate in upgrading the somewhat older systems and procedures to world-class accounting standards. Last year, one of the business units went live on Dynamics D365. Several D365 go-lives are planned over the next couple of years and need tailored solutions.

Working with complex solutions
You are going to:
- Initiate controlling tasks in our accounting as to find out risk points, implement controls, automate finance reconciliations (usually through Excel), improve compliance and anchor new processes
- Analyze existing processes, identify problems, design and implement solutions in cooperation with the relevant stakeholders
- Manage smaller projects for now, as 2 large ERP upgrade projects are already in the pipeline. This includes managing a treasury/ accounting project and implementing a new month-end cockpit
- Possibly participate in our large ERP upgrade to some degree
- Communicate with stakeholders at all levels in Denmark or in affiliates outside of Denmark
- Assist the Group Accounting Director in ad-hoc tasks
You have the following qualifications:
- A master’s degree in either accounting or economics
- 3+ years of working experience in either accounting or controlling
- The energy to drive projects from A to Z independently
- A problem-solving and positive mindset
- IT-flair, as all our tools are IT-based
- Experience in working with Excel as a super user
- A pleasant demeanor and the ability to communicate at all levels
- Fluency in English
