Join our Product Portfolio Management Team as Senior Portfolio Manager to define GN Hearing’s future product portfolio

In Product Portfolio management, we are leading an exciting transformation of our product portfolio. Our challenge is to reach the full potential of core hearing aids and software solutions, while also ensuring the success of new exciting products like Jabra Enhance Plus.
GN Hearing provides people across the world with advanced hearing aids that let them hear more, do more and be more than they ever thought possible.
Working out of our headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark, you will be responsible for managing GN Hearing portfolio roadmaps that covers our core hearing aids, as well as the new hearing-enhancing earbuds, Jabra Enhance Plus. Together with colleagues from across the value chain, you need to build the roadmaps that will drive our future success

About the department
You will be part of Product Portfolio management which is a unit inside the newly established SVP area Product Management. We are a small team responsible for managing the product portfolio across GN Hearing. Our responsibility is to ensure a portfolio that enables us to reach our financial and strategic targets. This is the time to join Product Portfolio Management: We are a key player in taking GN Hearing from a product to a full experience perspective. This transition is high on agenda of senior leadership.

Working out of our headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark, you will be responsible for managing GN Hearing portfolio roadmaps that covers our core hearing aids, as well as the new hearing-enhancing earbuds, Jabra Enhance Plus. Together with colleagues from across the value chain, you need to build the roadmaps that will drive our future success
Your responsibilities will be to:
- Develop of product and portfolio strategy in collaboration with other key parts of Product Management, R&D and Sales – where to play, how to win and the priorities on how to do this.
- Build a solid understanding of industry trends, competitors, technology opportunities and above all customer needs
- Develop scenarios for portfolio and prioritization of products
- Define cost targets for the new products to ensure that the portfolio delivers on financial aspirations
- Act as Product Management responsible in agile planning for Hardware and Software
- Ensure buy-in for the portfolio decisions from the markets
- Represent Product Management in technology and concepting tracks to ensure fit with the future portfolio
- Kickoff of new product developments in Product Management by framing the scope on what the product is to achieve.
You will be successful in the role if you have:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience – ideally from Hearing industry and/or product management
- A technical background with a business mindset who can bridge between the technical opportunities and the commercial value. You could also have a business background with a strong willingness and interest to invest in understanding the technical aspects of the business
- You understand how a med-tech R&D function works, products and technical set-up – ideally from inside a Hearing aid company
- You have experience with placing technical products on the organization’s agenda
- You are excellent at stakeholder management
- You hold a relevant master’s degree
- Effortlessly communication skills in spoken and written English
