We are looking for a leader for our Manufacturing Test department as the current manager will take on a new area of responsibility within GN Audio.
The Manufacturing Test department develops both test platforms and test setups for use in manufacturing sites, ensuring all products are tested and configured correctly before leaving the factories. The department supports all our global manufacturing sites and regional logistics centers.
What will you be doing?
As Head of Manufacturing Test, you will be based at our headquarters in Ballerup, Copenhagen, and lead a team of app. 10 people situated in Denmark and one team manager in China. As a people manager, you will, of course, recruit, lead, develop and mentor your own direct reports, lead across the Manufacturing Test organization but also be responsible for driving cross functional innovation, serving as a role model and mentor. In this manner, you are inspiring your colleagues to attain goals and pursue excellence.
Another essential part of your job will be to define and develop Manufacturing Test best practices, processes, and policies to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and goals. Thus, , you will oversee and drive the implementation of a global Manufacturing Test Strategy, including the increased use of automation as part of driving towards Industry 4.0.
You have a cooperative mindset as you are exposed to partners with multi-departmental leadership and other stakeholders to locate opportunities and develop and prioritize projects according to relevant measurement criteria.
Budget, investments, resource planning and external partner management are also vital areas of your responsibilities.

You have an engineering background, industry experience and a minimum 3 years of intercultural management experience. The important thing is that you are a doer with a true passion for leadership and driving improvement projects.

Further, we expect that you:
- As an Engineer have 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting medium to high volume production, preferably of electromechanical products
- have solid management experience and a process mindset
- have good understanding of manufacturing test field and technology
- preferably have Industry 4.0 experience
- have ideas that you can back up and argue for rationally and convincingly
- are open and respectful of others’ opinions and suggestions and in general have a positive outlook
- speak and write fluent English, and you live near or are willing to relocate to Copenhagen, Denmark
