HR Manager for NKT Photonics
Are you looking for new HR opportunities in a dynamic company with a large variety of tasks? We are looking for a dedicated HR Manager with at least 5 years’ experience in an HR Manager role to join us
NKT Photonics is undergoing an exciting development of their HR function and are therefore looking for a HR Maanger who wants to make a difference by establishing professional and high-quality HR services and functions. You have an HR related education, and you are dynamic, professional and have experience in executing HR projects, supporting organisational development and working collaboratively with Managers at all levels.
Your role:
One of your roles will be direct interaction with dynamic and ambitious managers who aim at optimizing the HR support functions. You will assist in creating effective job structures, and work on recruitment and career progression. Furthermore, you will be advising managers on all aspects of human resources management, trade union issues and collective agreements.
You will be working in an engineering environment creating effective job structures, hiring the best talents, and advising on career progression. You will also be supporting senior managers as they progress their plans through the HR systems.
This role includes a unique opportunity to roll out management development training and to contribute to the progression of the HR service function. We urge you to apply if you believe that HR drives organizational goals and high employee satisfaction.
You will work closely with another HR Manager and two advisors to support each other and the company. We are a global HR team currently operating in over 9 countries. You will be working collaboratively with this international team to create a best practice, dynamic and professional HR Function. Our global team rolls out solutions for the company and you will be reporting to a manager based in UK.
Principal tasks and responsibilities
- Work in an international team of HR managers who continuously improve the HR Function service
- Implementation of best practice solutions to HR issues, working within a strategic framework
- Managing key stakeholders to support the overall strategic direction of HR and the Company.
- Plan and manage the recruitment process supporting the hiring manager from start to finish
- Manage the HR elements of onboarding and introduction of new employees
- Manage employee relations, collective agreements, employment law and regulations
- Prepare relevant reports and Management Information efficiently
- Day-to-day administration and updating of HR systems
- Responsible for annual processes such as performance, pay and incentives reviews
- Support managers with employee management
- Carry out relevant training and development programs
- Create and implement HR policies, processes, and procedures
- Provide relevant HR information to managers such as an Employee Handbook
- Support and development of HR initiatives and projects to develop the HR function
Key interactions: Senior Leaders, People managers and employees, HR colleagues internationally, Payroll and Finance
Travel requirements: Up to 5% annually, usually within Europe
Skills & knowledge required
You must be familiar with HR systems, have intermediate MS Excel knowledge such as VLookups and pivot tables. You are capable of creating PowerPoint presentations and Management Information. You are able to maintain a helpful and calm approach to solving problems and dealing with issues, complaints and other staff situations. You are organised and have an eye for detail. Knowledge of HR law for Salaried Employees Act, collective agreements, holiday law, sick leave regulation etc. is required. Fluent in Danish and English, both verbally and written. You must be flexible and resilient in a dynamic workplace.
Qualifications and experience required
HR Management degree or equivalent qualifications or experience. Solid experience from a similar position in HR with primary emphasis on HR within an Engineering or Manufacturing environment. You should have experience in advising Senior Managers with best practice and in solving complex employee relations issues. Confident in stakeholder management and in advising managers on all aspects of people management and development. Experience with coaching and change management. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good at planning and prioritizing with an eye for detail. You have worked with deployed HR systems and are able to confidently support managers’ access to systems. You are familiar with the employment life cycle from recruitment to resignation, managing terms and conditions, recruitment management as well as management of Danish Annual leave. You have a global mindset and thrive in working in an international environment. Experience in presenting, developing and deploying HR initiatives.
