Head of Business Finance, Business Line CFO

As Head of Business Finance at NKT, you will be part of shaping tomorrow’s business priorities in the Accessories Business Line through proactive engagement with business to reach the overall business strategy and goals. With direct report to the Vice President, Head of Business Finance you will hold a key position in the Leadership team of the Accessories Business Line. You will have a broad interface with the NKT organization: including Executive Management and BLs. You will also play a key part in leading standardization across finance processes and policies, in addition to identifying levers for improving business performance. You will lead (directly) 6-7 controllers in different locations and hold the responsibility of developing team capabilities, ensuring strong succession planning, and supporting collaborative behavior across teams.
Some of your main responsibilities will be:
You come with relevant financial education e.g., an MSc in Finance, and a minimum of 8-10 years of finance experience preferably from an international business environment. In addition, you have previous experience in business controlling- and accounting positions, ideally also operational controlling. Furthermore, you have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managerial positions combined with a track record of strong results in driving performance management.
You are an experienced user in SAP/ERP systems, Excel, OneStream, or similar. Experience with BW is an advantage. Furthermore, it is required that you have excellent verbal and written English skills. Knowledge of Danish and/or German can be an advantage.
You are a result-driven people manager with a collaborative mindset who understands the value of driving results via an engaged Finance team. You possess strong stakeholder management skills and can navigate in an international organization and influence important stakeholders without any formal authorization. The ideal candidate is also analytical, innovative, and able to handle complex matters as well as having high dedication and personal drive.
Traveling: Accessories Business is located primarily in Nordenham, Germany and Allingsaas, Sweden with activities also in India, Australia, and Cologne and therefore some traveling should be expected.
Domicile: The position will be based in either Brøndby, Denmark, Nordenham, Germany, or Allingsaas, Sweden.

Some of your main responsibilities will be:
- CFO for Accessories Business Line incl. managing full P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
- Establish and govern solid operating model internally in Accessories Business Line and towards Group, supporting strong proactive performance management of Accessories
- Develop financial processes and measures which increase transparency and drive performance, while also providing financial counsel and support to the Accessories Business Line
- Ensure governance of accounting principles, compliance, and risk management. Optimize, standardize, and improve related processes
- Develop a highly competent, engaged, and well-reputed finance department known for its high level of expertise and strong business acumen
- Work actively with handing over relevant tasks to Shared Service Center (SSC) in Kaunas
- Lead planning and forecast processes across Accessories (budgets and quarterly forecasts)
- Monthly financial reporting and rolling forecast
