BaseCamp is adding more student properties to their portfolio and Copenhagen and Lyngby is looking for inspiring BaseCamp Managers.
WE BRING STUDENT LIFE TO THE NEXT LEVEL and we are expanding!! BaseCamp is part of student housing property in Germany, Poland and Denmark. Our environments is fast paced and inspiring and the goal is to make a big different towards the student expectation by delivering high-end accommodation and a community product with excellent service and social activities.
To maintain the operation and development of our exciting properties we look for BaseCamp Managers.
We seek skilled and committed candidates who, with his/hers outgoing and professional profile, will take responsibility so all the house students get an experience of hospitality, presence and a structure in a set of rules that makes everyone comfortable regardless of diversity.
The Job
As BaseCamp Manager, your primary responsibility is to ensure that BaseCamp's students have a highly professional service experience from start to finish - and be helpful whether it is accommodation, practical tasks to be solved, social life or possibly the extra talk that makes the student and the family safe.
With reference to and in collaboration with our BaseCamp Regional Manager your responsibilities and tasks will be:
YOUR PROFILE
You have experience from the hotel or similar service industry. You are passionate about service and it is natural for you to ensure that the quality is high and lasting.
As a person you are energetic and enthusiastic, just as you are extremely service minded and obliging with a good pondus - you are visible in everyday life have a practical approach and is not afraid to step in where it is needed. Your work is characterized by pride for the house, creativity, detail orientation and commitment. You are academically competent, take ownership and create both structure, joy and presence in everyday life - and at the same time you understand the importance of working together.
You are fluent in Danish and English

The Job
As BaseCamp Manager, your primary responsibility is to ensure that BaseCamp's students have a highly professional service experience from start to finish - and be helpful whether it is accommodation, practical tasks to be solved, social life or possibly the extra talk that makes the student and the family safe.
With reference to and in collaboration with our BaseCamp Regional Manager your responsibilities and tasks will be:
- Full responsibility for every ascpect of the property and common facility to ensure seamlessly smooth operation – always with an uncompromising focus on the service experience
- Personal Management, responsible for active talent search, interviewing, hiring, training and coaching
- Budgeting and managing forecast and cost
- Achieve maximum of revenue
- Responsible for leading as well as organizing the work for the student employees with a rewarding and motivating management style, where you yourself lead the way and are visible
- Implement and adjust procedures for the house
- Make sure BaseCamp is constantly presentable, professional and sharp and take action when needed
- You ”shine” in the front and help to present the house to interested, new students, parents and others
- Continuously develop and share ideas about the house - as well as events and other initiatives to the benefit of the many students and their guests
- With your professional attitude you gain respect and are able to maintain good order and ensure the excellent study and housing environment
