You will be responsible for managing all available software/licenses, driving the strategic direction of license management and cloud usage. You will interact closely with the IT department and our key suppliers to ensure excellent service in combination with alignment to the IT and Business Strategy.
At Pandora, we are moving more and more towards cloud-solutions, so in this role you will have the overall responsibility for implementing and maintaining global license management and cloud frameworks, including processes and policies. This will also give you the opportunity to influence our IT operations, projects and architecture, which you will work on in close collaboration with relevant teams.
You will be the key person in ensuring compliance with legislation and organisational policies as well as ensuring that suppliers live up to agreed KPIs, SLAs and compliance regarding software. You will plan, monitor and control resources to maximise the efficient and effective use of Software Licenses in order to ensure that we are compliant and in sync with our vendors. Finally, you will ensure that we comply with all applicable license regulations, and maintain all necessary license and subscription records.
Further to the tasks above, you will:
- Work alongside and manage our strategic partners on SAM
- Develop and implement license management processes with suppliers and in projects, and drive the professionalisation and optimisation of license management
- Be responsible for planning, monitoring, recording and reporting software licenses to ensure compliant and optimal use of both licenses and cloud subscriptions
- Provide support and guidance as subject matter expert, to inform and influence the business towards best practice and cost-effective license and cloud coverage
- Work with Procurement for optimising procurement and price setting
- Collect data from relevant parties to monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Your new team:
Pandora is a company with a big heart that takes great pride in treating our people well. IT Contract and Vendor Management is a tight-knit team that covers the full life-circle of our IT vendor landscape. Together we aim to achieve the best possible performance from our vendors and at the same time optimise cost and transparency in our “vendor landscape”. We are dynamic and enjoy challenging each other, whilst sharing thoughts and ideas to achieve a common goal. We also try to be creative and think outside of the box.
We are a team of six, all with different cultural backgrounds. Five of us are located in Copenhagen, and we are building our team at our new extended IT setup in Warsaw. In this position, you will report to the Director of Contract and Vendor Management, Global IT.
What is needed to succeed:
We imagine that you bring with you a relevant university degree within Business Administration or similar. You have a strong track record of professional achievements, and have experience in general contract and vendor management disciplines. More specifically, you have knowledge of license structures of major vendors, including Microsoft and Adobe. It would be an advantage if you have previously implemented Hardware and Software Asset Management frameworks and related software tooling (ServiceNow, SNOW).
Further to the above, you have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with license management and cloud services
- Strong communication skills, with experience collaborating in a global company and presenting to management stakeholders
- Experience with IT/License audits
- Expert level knowledge in Microsoft suite, including AX, O365 and Azure for the finance aspect of cloud subscriptions
Something about you:
You might be the person we are looking for if you work systematically to analyse situations, resolve problems, identify causes and anticipate implications. You are highly motivated and have a self-starter approach to the job with a focus on always delivering value to the business. As a confident communicator, you are able to translate complex challenges effectively, both verbally and in writing, to deliver structured and simple messages. Moreover, you have strong stakeholder management skills and are not afraid to challenge decisions.
