Manufacturing & Global Procurement Assembly & Towers Production Engineering Manufacturing Test
The department is responsible for the development of production test systems for Vestas. The test systems are often turn key deliveries with a high degree of tailoring and engineering included. Our projects vary of size and complexity. From 12 months and up to 2 years are normal time frames for our projects.
A key for us, in delivering our projects in time is to have a solid and innovative project management team. We continuously work with the project management structures and the governance around our projects, to ensure a high professional level of execution.

Additional Information

Travel activity: 30 days per year

We are searching a Technical Project Manager who will take charge of delivering projects with a high technical impact
Responsibilities:
- You supervise your project team and make sure you have the right progress and perform within the agreed time quality and cost
- You ensure to prioritize the tasks in your projects so that people always work on the right and value adding tasks
- You handle sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure they perform as agreed
- You make resource estimates and ensure resources are allocated to your projects from the line organization
- You prepare and conduct Steering committee- and project status meetings
- You ensure necessary progress in your projects and highlight deviations and issues
- You ensure that our processes are followed and you contribute to a continuous improvement of our processes as well
Qualifications:
- You to hold a bachelors or masters degree within engineering, alternatively you have experience enabling you to take on complex technical projects
- You have experience with technical project management, handling technical complex projects
- You have an IPMA certification or similar
- You are used to interacting with and handling sub-contractors and sub suppliers
- You are a good communicator, and you are able to communicate cross cultural
- Technical experience from Electrical engineering will be beneficial
Competencies:
- You are an outgoing person with good communication skills.
- You are reliable and thrive with changes, in a rapid moving organisation
- You are process oriented, and you are structured in your work
- You work with ease across different cultures
- You master English fluently
