Are you ready to lead a senior team of communications business partners and take communications and PR to the next level in a successful global company?

We tackle group communications efforts
You will head a team of senior communications consultants at our HQ in Hedehusene, Denmark. Each consultant is responsible for supporting members of the C-suite and business owners across the organization in making their agendas come to life through various communication efforts.
The team also handles day-to-day press relations and support our subsidiaries in 80+ markets with communication content and guidelines. The team’s office is next to the CEO, who you will collaborate closely with as you act as a filter between the press and Group Management.
You will step into the management group with the 3 team leads of Brand & Content, Digital Marketing & Analytics and Collaboration & Productivity as well as the department director. Together, you will set the direction for marketing and communications in DSV Panalpina A/S.
Manage and develop a team of communication experts
Besides being a leader, you take on a hands-on role in producing content as well. Ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and policy, you will:

- Lead and develop our communications consultants and create a harmonious work environment
- Manage the development, implementation and management of scalable processes and a shared communication framework for business owners and business partnering
- Lead and mature PR, media monitoring, crisis communication and communication support efforts
- Manage the editorial efforts and content production for internal and external channels
- Continuously develop and drive line communication in collaboration with individual line managers
Are you an experienced communicator and people leader?
You are independent as well as well-grounded as a leader and have great interpersonal skills. You have a process- and result-oriented mindset and are keen on establishing the ideal framework for your team’s endeavors. Moreover, you enjoy planning and managing projects in a corporate environment in a constant state of flux.
Moreover, you bring:
- A master’s degree in communication and/or business
- 10+ years of experience in a communications/media/public relations role – in-house or in an agency
- Experience as a people manager and with working in an international setting
- Experience with crisis communication, line communication efforts and business partnering
- Experience building and managing communications strategies and executing communication plans
- Strong MS Office proficiency
- Solid content production and writing skills in English
If you bring the following, it is a bonus:
- Proficiency in Sitecore, SharePoint, Mynewsdesk and/or Falcon/SoMe
