Would you like to take the lead ensuring hight quality processes and platforms ensuring always updated technical documentation in a large-scale global IT organisation? And do you at the same time want to take responsibly for driving a range of strategical governance initiatives?

Welcome to IT Organisation, Process and Governance
You and your team of 8 colleagues will be located in our IT Organisation, Process and Data Governance department, a staff function reporting to the Group CIO in DSV.

In total, the department consists of 50 Danish and international colleagues, and many of us have been here for several years, because we enjoy the energy and the professional development that comes with being a part of a growing company. And we are aware that this growth can only continue if we stay adaptable and keep on prioritising the necessary technical investments.

Your team consists of colleagues with many years of experience within technical documentation, disaster recovery and change control. They know each other’s strengths and competences well and now need you to set the direction for a more ambitious future and lead their professional development.

Take charge of our documentation and disaster recovery
One of your most important tasks is to make sure that we use the right platforms, standards and processes to establish and maintain our technical documentation. As you introduce changes along the way, you ensure that these are made in a controlled and coordinated manner.

Another of your main areas of responsibility is to develop the right disaster recovery framework enabling transparent cross-functional collaboration allowing us to respond rapidly and professionally in case of an incident.

Apart from your own team, your most important stakeholders will be Business Continuity, IT Compliance and our executive group of IT management as you continuously update them on the latest plans and procedures for disaster recovery.

You are great at managing both stakeholders and technical complexity
This new focus on documentation and disaster recovery means that we are embarking on a transition with many stakeholders and complex systems involved. So, it is important that you are able to handle a great amount of complexity and enjoy the challenge of developing and implementing new concepts.

With your solid senior management experience, you are able to design a strong service organisation earning their mandate by the quality they deliver.

Your skills as a communicator are as strong as your analytical mindset, since clear and relevant communication is key to ensuring the right reaction should a critical situation arise. And as colleagues from different parts of the organisation will rely on your expertise, it is important that you are able to prioritise your efforts.

Professionally, we imagine that you:

  • Have a master’s degree within business administration, computer science or similar
  • Bring experience from a large-scale international IT organisation or a leading consultancy company
  • Have solid (5+years) experience implementing technical documentation platforms including a technical mindset
  • Bring experience implementing cross functional governance processes in complex IT organisations
  • Have strong conceptual experience working with disaster recovery and documentation governance
  • Bring a general and broad insight to more operational areas in IT, specifically within IT Governance
  • Speak and write English fluently – Danish is not a prerequisite
