Are you motivated by managing business-critical applications? Would you like to be part of a successful company in growth?
DSV is looking for an Application Manager, who will be responsible for a portfolio of applications and for the service ownership of these application. This means that you will own and manage the development as well as the maintenance and support of the applications within the business areas Compliance, Insurance and Customs.
As Application Manager you will be the link between the business and IT, you will play an important role as a trusted partner to our business.

Our aim is to be the best in class regarding IT and due to DSV strategy, our IT landscape changes rapidly. The area is high on the agenda of our management, and so is the level of freedom provided in order to meet our goals.
You will be a part of the Finance and Group systems IT vertical, with headquarters in a new top tier office space in Hedehusene. We count 150+ employees across several locations and is part of Global IT with + 2000 international employees.
The function is undergoing a transformation and we need your competencies to succeed!
Take ownership of application development and maintenance
Apart from your closest colleagues in IT, you will be communicating with our vendors and stakeholders like business directors and department managers across all of DSV. Some of your tasks will be to:

You have solid experience with the management and coordination of IT delivery. Being the person leading the delivery from beginning to end does not scare you – because taking on responsibility comes naturally to you and navigating in a fast-changing environment fits your proactive and structured approach well.

- Lead the application delivery teams
- Be responsible for contract and vendor management
- Allocate resources of technical specialists, project managers and vendor resources
- Plan and manage tasks and projects
- Handle service request and change requests
- Be responsible for the SLA
We are looking for a person with application management qualifications
You have solid experience with the management and coordination of IT delivery. Being the person leading the delivery from beginning to end does not scare you – because taking on responsibility comes naturally to you and navigating in a fast-changing environment fits your proactive and structured approach well.
Moreover, you are a true communicator who manifest yourself in the way you interact with colleagues and business owners from many different cultures.
Additionally, you:
- Hold a relevant degree in IT or a related field
- Have experience with application management, IT security and compliance
- Have experience with management reporting
- Understand business processes
- Have previously worked in a large organization with a wide variety of business areas
- Have experience with ITIL and project management
- Are able to communicate in a direct, constructive manner
- Speak and write English fluently
